Visiting the Farm

Where are the Farm and Market located? The Market is located at the front of Reed's Farm. 5075 Spruce Ave Egg Harbor Twp, NJ 08234

When can we visit the farm? The Farm, Animal Sanctuary, and Market share the same hours and are open on weekends year-round. The Farm follows Market hours which are currently Thursday - Sunday, 9 am - 3 pm.

Are you open year-round/all winter? Yes, we are currently open year-round. Our hours may shift seasonally.

Can we tour the Farm? Yes! You're welcome to tour the Farm during our open hours. Tours are self-guided - start at The Market and visit the programming garden, herb garden, peace & unity garden and animals. Then finish off your trip with a beverage and treat in the market! Please do not enter the green houses or animal enclosures.

Can we schedule private or group tours? Yes, please contact us to coordinate a private tour around the farm.

Is the farm pet-friendly? Well-behaved dogs may visit. All dogs must remain on a leash and with their owner at all times.

Can I pet or feed the animals? For the safety of our guests and animals, we do not allow petting or feeding of our animals. You are free to wander about the farm and see them from behind our fencing. Please do not attempt to catch or touch any free-range animals.

When can I visit the animal sanctuary? The animal sanctuary is open for visitation during market hours which are currently Thursday - Sunday, 9 am - 3 pm.

Are there any volunteer opportunities? Yes, we welcome volunteers on the farm. Explore our Volunteer section of the website to learn more and get in touch.

Can you host events like birthday parties here? No, we currently do not host private parties at the farm.

Shopping the Market

What kind of items do you sell in your market? Our objective in the market is to showcase local organic items. We offer organic vegetables from the farm as well as other local farms, various fresh baked goods such as sourdough bread, cookies, scones, pies, flatbreads, etc, along with many other pantry, frozen, refrigerated items.

Where can I find more information about the herbal line? In our booklets or on the website.

What are curious elixirs? Non-alcoholic beverages with similar tasting notes to alcoholic beverages.

Where does the Giordano produce come from? Giordano produce is sourced from local organic farms, many of which are in lancaster. We try to supplement our produce by supporting other farmers who have similar practices to us in order to provide variety to our community.

What can be composted in the market bin? Veggies only for compost. No bread, cheese, prepared food. It molds and/or attracts pests

Can I order baked goods ahead of time? Yes, call the market at 609-457-0273

Do you offer coffee or tea? Yes, we have a coffee bar that is central to our market with options for teas, coffees, etc.

Is all of the produce organic? Yes, all of the produce sold in the Market was grown using organic practices.

Do you have anything allergen friendly? Yes! You can find vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, and dairy free products throughout the Market. Items shift seasonally and are produced in limited batches

Do you sell meat/animal products? No, we do not sell meat at the Market

Do you sell chickens or ducks? No live animals are for sale at the Market.
