PEOPLE
Reed’s Farm is a place where people can reconnect with the land, with food, and with one another. Through vocational programs, educational partnerships, workshops, and public events, the farm creates opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to spend time outdoors and learn through direct experience. Whether tending a garden bed, participating in a workshop, or simply walking the farm and visiting the animals, these moments help foster curiosity, confidence, and a deeper understanding of the natural world.
A central focus of this work is creating meaningful opportunities for individuals who are often overlooked by traditional systems. Through partnerships with local schools and community organizations, Reed’s offers hands-on learning and vocational experiences for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. These programs provide real skills, real responsibilities, and a welcoming environment where people can build confidence while contributing to the life of the farm.
