At Reed’s Farm, we believe that real change starts right here - at home, with our neighbors, and with the land beneath our feet. That’s why we’re joining the global movement for World Localization Day with a two-day celebration that honors community, connection, and the power of local action.
Spearheaded by organization Local Futures, World Localization Day is celebrated each June by communities across the globe, all championing a future that’s more equitable, resilient, and rooted in regional efforts. Our local celebration takes shape over two special days:
Day 1
Friday, June 20 | 3–6 PM | Ticketed ($30)
Patio at Reed’s Farm
We’re kicking things off on the evening of the summer solstice with wood-fired pizzas made right here on the farm, herbal beverages, craft stations, and live music from D’Arc Family Jams. Gather with us for a special panel discussion featuring local changemakers, moderated by Evan Sanchez. Together, they’ll explore and explain how local food systems and grassroots collaboration are shaping a more resilient South Jersey.
Wander the space and enjoy seasonal bites, herbal teas, and hands-on craft stations, all while soaking up the longest light of the year.
Day 2
Saturday, June 21 | 9 AM–3 PM | Free Admission
Throughout Reed’s Farm
The celebration continues with a full day of community connection! Local makers and organizations will gather across the farm for an event that highlights the diverse talents and offerings of our region. Expect everything from handmade goods to information on local initiatives working to build a stronger Atlantic County region.
Come meet your neighbors, discover new favorites, and support the small businesses that keep our community vibrant and thriving. Join us June 20–21 to celebrate the longest day the local way!
Tickets for Day 1 are available now!
