Our mission is to revitalize our community by reconnecting people with animals and nature and provide access to fresh and nutrient-rich food, inclusive education, and workforce exploration opportunities. Our vision is to empower people to enrich their lives and community by bringing the land to life, bringing people to the land, and transforming both.

OUR PURPOSE

At Reed's Farm, we aim to nurture the land and produce wholesome, organic food that nourishes our community. We practice sustainable, regenerative farming to benefit both the environment and the well-being of those around us. We are committed to doing our part to provide fresh, organic produce to those who otherwise may not have access to it.

Our devotion to spreading knowledge and inspiring sustainable practices comes to life through our various programs. By hosting hands-on workshops and events, coordinating educational initiatives with local schools and organizations, and operating our vocational programs, we create opportunities for our community to connect with the land and learn more about organic farming. We also provide a safe and loving home for animals in need, reflecting our dedication to compassion and care in all we do.

STEPS WE'RE TAKING:
OUR IMPACT SO FAR

Over the past few years, Reed's Farm has made significant strides in improving soil health, increasing local biodiversity, and providing fresh, organic produce to the community. Our educational and vocational programs have empowered numerous individuals, fostering a stronger, healthier community.

Our farm has become a beloved local institution, drawing visitors from all over the region. Through our efforts, we have created a network of like-minded individuals and organizations that support our mission. This collaborative spirit has amplified our impact, enabling us to reach more people and achieve greater environmental and social benefits.

In the last 4 years, we have:

  • Regenerated 12 acres of land for optimal yield productions

  • Opened & restored 10 acres for vegetable and flower production

  • Cover cropped 40 acres

  • Built 5 greenhouses

  • Planted a full acre of blueberries and strawberries

  • Planted over 80 trees through the Remembrance Tree Project

  • Developed partnerships with over 25 different organizations to provide programs for disabled and underserved youth

  • Provided opportunities for paid work for over 74 individuals in collaboration with various organizations

  • Directly hired 4 individuals from our vocational exploration program

We are eager to continue our work, transforming our land and the lives of those who encounter it.
