Cultivating Change: Highlights from Our Special Screening of 'Common Ground'

Updated: Jul 9

The makers of Common Ground believe that together, we can bring about a 'tipping point' that promotes and enables the implementation of regenerative agricultural practices.

That sentiment was echoed by the attendees of our screening of the film at Ventnor Square Theater on May 29th. Immediately impactful, the documentary combined vital information with artful storytelling and unique perspectives, leaving viewers inspired and eager to get involved. After the screening, audience members and panelists engaged in thoughtful discussions about the film’s themes and the potential to bring about positive change within their own communities.

We would like to extend a special thanks to our host, board member Jeff Schwartz, and our panelists, Jeff Tkach of Rodale Institute, Jason Gerhardt of Real Earth Design, Greg Freelon of Cousins Heritage Gardens, and Devin Cornia of NOFA NJ. Their insight helped make clearer the ways in which the regenerative practices outlined in the film can be implemented on a local scale.

Another thanks goes to Ventnor Square Theatre, who generously donated all proceeds from ticket sales for the event directly to A Meaningful Purpose at Reed's Farm.

We are tremendously grateful to everyone who was present at the screening, and look forward to hosting similar events in the future.
